Work-Related Injury Rehab

Recover from workplace injuries and return to work safely

60 minutes
8–16 visits with workers' comp coordination

A work injury can interrupt your income, independence, and daily routine. At One Stop Rehab, we provide individualized rehabilitation to help injured workers reduce pain, restore strength and mobility, and return to work as safely and confidently as possible.

Effective return-to-work programs focus on restoring function while matching rehabilitation to the employee’s actual job demands, often using a gradual and medically appropriate transition back to work.

We can help with

  • Low-back, neck, and shoulder injuries
  • Sprains, strains, and muscle tears
  • Knee, hip, ankle, foot, wrist, or elbow injuries
  • Repetitive-use and overuse injuries
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, or twisting injuries
  • Slip, trip, and fall injuries
  • Work-related motor vehicle injuries
  • Post-operative recovery following a workplace injury
  • Pain or limitations associated with prolonged standing, walking, sitting, lifting, or repetitive movements
  • Injuries affecting construction, manufacturing, healthcare, warehouse, retail, office, public-safety, and other physically demanding workers

What patients can expect

Your first visit

  • A thorough evaluation of your injury, pain, mobility, strength, and endurance
  • A review of the essential tasks of your job
  • Identification of the physical demands that matter most—such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, prolonged standing, driving, computer work, stair climbing, or repetitive tasks

Your treatment plan

Your plan may include:

  • Pain-management and mobility-focused treatment
  • Progressive strengthening and endurance training
  • Manual therapy when appropriate
  • Job-specific functional exercises
  • Safe lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and body-mechanics training
  • Workstation and ergonomic education
  • Balance, coordination, and movement retraining
  • Work conditioning or graded activity progression, when appropriate
  • Home exercise programming to support recovery between visits
  • Communication and coordination with your physician, employer, case manager, or workers’ compensation representative when authorized

Work-focused rehabilitation can include job simulation, lifting and carrying practice, posture and ergonomic guidance, progressive conditioning, and gradual work reintroduction to prepare an employee for safe job performance.

Return-to-Work Planning

Returning to work does not always mean returning to every duty immediately. When appropriate, we can help support a staged plan that may include modified duties, reduced lifting, adjusted schedules, task rotation, or a gradual increase in workload.

Our goal is to help you return when you are medically ready, with the strength, movement ability, and confidence needed for your job. Early stay-at-work and return-to-work strategies are intended to help injured workers resume productive work as soon as medically possible during recovery.

Workers’ Compensation

If your injury occurred at work, report it to your employer promptly and follow the reporting and medical-care procedures required by your employer and workers’ compensation carrier. Authorization requirements, approved providers, visit limits, and referral rules can vary by claim and insurance plan.

One Stop Rehab can help you understand what information may be needed before your first visit, including your workers’ compensation claim details, authorization, adjuster or case-manager contact information, and referring-provider orders when required.
