Frequently Asked Questions.

Everything you need to know before your first visit — from insurance to what to expect on day one.

Do I need a referral from my doctor to start physical therapy?

North Carolina allows direct access, so in most cases you can start without a referral. Some insurance plans still require one — we'll verify your specific plan before your first visit.

What insurance plans do you accept?

We accept most major insurance plans including Medicare, Tricare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare and more. Call us at (910) 592-0987 and we'll verify your benefits.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can call (910) 592-0987, email onestoprehab4@gmail.com, or use our online contact form. Same-week appointments are usually available.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, any physician referral or imaging reports, a list of current medications, and clothing that lets us access the area we'll be treating.

How long is each session?

Most sessions are 45 to 60 minutes. Your first evaluation may run a bit longer so we can complete a full assessment and design your plan.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on your condition and goals. Most patients complete a full program in 6 to 12 visits over 4 to 8 weeks. We'll give you a clear estimate after your evaluation.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules so we can offer the time to another patient. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.

Do you offer self-pay or cash rates?

Yes. We offer competitive self-pay rates for patients without insurance or who prefer to pay out of pocket. Call us for current pricing.

Will therapy be painful?

You may feel mild soreness after sessions, similar to a good workout. We progress at a pace your body tolerates and never push through sharp pain.

How do I pay for my visits?

We accept cash, check, all major credit cards and HSA/FSA cards. Copays and balances are collected at each visit.
