Dry Needling at One Stop Rehab

What is Dry Needling?

Dry needling is a skilled technique performed by our licensed physical therapists to treat muscle pain, tightness, and movement impairments. A very thin, solid needle is gently inserted into trigger points (tight bands of muscle) to release tension, improve blood flow, and restore function. Unlike acupuncture, which is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, dry needling is based on modern anatomy and neuroscience.

Is It Safe?

Yes. Our therapists are specially trained and certified in dry needling. The needles are sterile, single-use, and very thin (much finer than injection needles). Most patients feel little to no discomfort during treatment—sometimes just a brief muscle twitch or soreness afterward, which is normal and temporary.

Pelvic Floor Therapy at One Stop Rehab

What is Pelvic Floor Therapy?

Pelvic floor therapy is a specialized form of physical therapy that focuses on the muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues that support the bladder, uterus, prostate, and rectum. These muscles play an important role in bladder and bowel control, sexual function, posture, and core stability. When the pelvic floor is too weak, too tight, or not working properly, it can cause pain and other symptoms.
