Dry needling is a skilled technique performed by our licensed physical therapists to treat muscle pain, tightness, and movement impairments. A very thin, solid needle is gently inserted into trigger points (tight bands of muscle) to release tension, improve blood flow, and restore function. Unlike acupuncture, which is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, dry needling is based on modern anatomy and neuroscience.
Yes. Our therapists are specially trained and certified in dry needling. The needles are sterile, single-use, and very thin (much finer than injection needles). Most patients feel little to no discomfort during treatment—sometimes just a brief muscle twitch or soreness afterward, which is normal and temporary.
At One Stop Rehab, our goal is to help you move better, recover faster, and get back to doing what you love. Dry needling is one of the many advanced, evidence-based treatments we use to support your healing journey.
